Interactive Cell Sites

Hey Bio Students!

First official post with an actual "to do"! So we're going to start simple. Interactive websites are a great new tool for learning for students. They make the learning fun and sometimes even somewhat like a game!

For this post I am challenging all of you to find an interactive cell website. There are several out there and they are pretty easy to find. Once you find an interactive cell website, please post a comment with the website address. In the comment, you also need to have a paragraph or two describing the website or some notes from available on the website.

For example, if the site allows you to look at organelles it should have some notes for the organelle, write at least 2 organelles you looked at and the notes that accompany the organelle on that particular website.

Please feel free to post comments with questions about this assignment. If you use the same website as another student, please write different notes about the site or you will not receive credit.

Good luck and HAVE FUN!!

Welcome!!

Hey Bio students! Welcome!!

This is our first Blog entry for the "Fun With Cells" portion of the school year. This site will be used as an extra credit option, as you all know already. It will also be used to communicate questions, concerns or comments you may have on what we are discussing in class.

There are only a few rules for this blog...
1. That all posts or comments are respectful of other comments, posts or questions that you are responding to.
2. That you learn something by using this site!
3. That you have some FUN!

Lets get started blogging!!
